Ideal Heat Solutions invests in some of the most advanced and effective technology available for our clients. With a duel stage pressure jet, the diesel-powered Eagle AHU 230 is one of our most dependable heaters. It’s easy to install, suited for domestic and construction needs, and is capable of producing thermal outputs up to 230kW.
This system is primarily designed for use as a positive displacement hot air heater, high temperature heat treatment system or kiln dryer, and produces heat through its internal steel reversing flame exchange unit.
Electric and Power
When used as a positive displacement system with fresh air supplies of 16°C, the AHU is able to produce continual air steams at 70°C. It can even reach a maximum of 150°C when used in a re-circulation system, showing just how powerful it is.
It has the ability to run on 240vac 16amp or 110vat CET system, reinforcing its suitability for diverse requirements. Both voltages go through the residual circuit breaker (RCD) found in the system’s fuse box, and it features a simple voltage select for added safety and ease of use.
Every aspect of the system is optimised to make it as efficient as possible. The main air supply is provided by a forced cooled centrifugal fan, powered by a single Phase squirrel motor, which can produce 10500M³ per hour. A supplementary cooling system provides an additional 300M3 of positive pressured air per hour to the main fan motor.
Safety Functionality
The Eagle 230 AHU has sophisticated internal safety mechanisms to prevent complications for our clients. These systems ensure that if particular elements encounter problems, it will attempt to rectify this automatically. For example, if the main heater fan fails to operate, it triggers the overhead controller limit cut-out to shut the burner down. This gives the unit time to cool down, after which point the red reset button can be pressed manually to restart the heater.
We advise that these safety devices should not be alerted or removed, as it will compromise the welfare and safety of the property and people using the equipment. Only qualified technicians can install this equipment, and the same applies for any repairs. If any problems do occur, get in touch with our team to ensure it is fixed safely.
