A catering training centre located in Hampshire required a temporary cooling solution to supplement its fixed HVAC system. Rising summer temperatures were affecting the kitchen areas across two storeys, and the existing cooling system was no longer effective.
Ideal Heat Solutions was appointed to deliver a reliable, high-performance cooling setup following a successful project at the same site the previous year.

After revisiting the site and confirming the brief, our engineering team specified a tailored solution designed to maintain 16°C across multiple kitchen zones.
All plant and supporting equipment was delivered and positioned on-site, including chillers, generators, air handling units, pipework and ducting.
Installation took place across 2 floors, with 8 ducting runs installed on the first floor at high level using a cherry picker. Timers and telemetry were configured for full remote monitoring.
Chillers and generators were fitted with full BMS and telemetry systems, allowing off-site performance monitoring and fast issue resolution.

High internal temperatures in multiple kitchens were impacting the use of training spaces. Cooling had to be delivered safely, without disruption, and meet a strict 16°C air temperature requirement.
We deployed and installed the full temporary cooling system within a tightly managed timeframe, ensuring kitchens across both floors were maintained at comfortable working conditions.
All plant was set up for remote monitoring, with timers and BMS integration to optimise energy usage and respond quickly to changes in demand.
