BOILER HIRE: HEATING SOLUTION FOR LONDON OFFICE BLOCKS

OBJECTIVES & CONSIDERATIONS

Ideal Heat Solutions were contacted by an office block in central London, explaining that their boiler plant room was under refurbishment and a temporary boiler was needed to maintain services. This meant leaving the office spaces vulnerable to cold temperatures. Given the urgency of the situation, our goal was to restore heating quickly to prevent discomfort for the building’s occupants. To achieve this, we developed a strategic plan with the following key steps:

• EVENING DELIVERY: To overcome traffic restrictions in central London, we scheduled the delivery of the boiler late on Tuesday evening.

• MORNING  INSTALLATION: Our team was on-site early Wednesday morning to begin installation, ensuring the heating system would be operational by the afternoon.

• MINIMISE DISRUPTION: We aimed to complete the installation without causing significant disruption to office workers, traffic, or pedestrians.

EQUIPMENT USED FOR THE PROJECT:

• 300kW SLIMLINE CONDENSING GAS BOILER: These boilers are highly efficient and generate lower emissions, making them ideal for densely populated areas – great for this particular project based in central London.

• 2″ STEEL BRAIDED HOSES: Steel braids provide added strength and are more resistant to abrasion, extreme temperatures, and high pressure – a durable pairing for the 300kW boiler.

WHAT DID WE DO?

Our team supplied and installed a new 300kW Slimline Condensing Gas Boiler to provide heating for the office blocks in London.

Given the boiler’s proximity to a public walkway, we also supplied and installed specialist temporary fencing as part of our comprehensive solution.

HOW DID WE DO IT?

After carefully considering the location of the office blocks, we managed the delivery late at night due to offloading restrictions, space limitations, and the need for traffic management in Central London.

Our experienced engineering team promptly installed the boiler the following morning, ensuring it was fully operational by the afternoon.
