An established HVAC contractor managing a secure government-operated site in the South of England required a temporary heating solution during the replacement of an ageing boiler system.
The site included multiple accommodation dwellings where reliable heating was essential to maintain welfare standards and operational continuity. With permanent plant being removed and upgraded, uninterrupted heating was critical.
Ideal Heat Solutions was appointed to supply and install a temporary boiler hire system to ensure the facility remained fully operational throughout the works.

Following site assessment and consultation with the contractor, we specified and supplied:
120 metres of 2” steel braided high-temperature heating hose
2 x 25m 3-phase 32A extension leads
3,000-litre fuel tanks
The temporary boiler was positioned on site and connected directly into the existing flow and return pipework, along with the mains cold feed. All connections were completed using 2” BSP fittings to ensure secure and compliant integration.
Steel braided heating hose was selected for durability and safety within a controlled public sector environment.
Electrical supply was established via 3-phase 32A extension leads, and fuel storage was carefully positioned to ensure continuous operation throughout the hire period.
The temporary heating system was installed while the existing boiler was removed and replaced.
Our engineers commissioned the system and restored heating to the accommodation dwellings without interrupting occupancy. The temporary boiler operated as the primary heating source until the permanent plant replacement was completed.
Close coordination with the contractor ensured the installation met all access, safety and compliance requirements specific to the site.
